Cuff Attach মানে হলো — পোশাকের হাতার নিচের অংশে (sleeve hem-এর স্থানে) একটি Cuff বা হাতা-মোড়ানো ব্যান্ড সেলাই করে লাগানো।

এই অংশটিকে বলা হয় Cuff, এবং সেটি হাতার সাথে যুক্ত করার প্রক্রিয়াটিই Cuff Attach।

👉 এটি সাধারণত shirt, jacket, coat, ladies blouse, uniform, denim jacket ইত্যাদিতে দেখা যায়।

1. হাতার নিচের অংশকে শক্ত ও আকর্ষণীয় ফিনিশ দেওয়া।

2. হাতার দৈর্ঘ্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা ও হাতায় ফিট তৈরি করা।

3. Button বা snap ব্যবহার করে হাতার ওপেনিং বন্ধ করার সুবিধা দেওয়া।

4. পোশাকের overall appearance উন্নত করা।

Cuff attach করার আগে Cuff এবং Sleeve দুটো অংশ প্রস্তুত করতে হয় 👇

1. Cuff Preparation:

Cuff main fabric ও interlining কাটিং

Fusing attach করা (stiffness এর জন্য)

Folding & top stitch করা

Buttonhole mark করা

2. Sleeve Preparation:

Sleeve bottom edge slit open করা

Continuous placket বা sleeve placket attach করা

Sleeve edge clean finish করা

3. Cuff Attach:

Sleeve bottom edge ও cuff matching করা

Lockstitch machine দিয়ে cuff attach করা

Seam allowance press করে fold in করা

Edge top stitch করা (outer side থেকে)

4. Final Finishing:

Buttonhole তৈরি

Button attach
